GREENSBORO — Mrs. Mary L. Anderson, 97, of Greensboro, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Living Waters Baptist Church. Committal services will follow at Westminster Gardens.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of Living Waters Baptist Church. She was the retired owner and operator of Snow White Childcare with over 40 years of service.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Anderson, their daughter, Judith Ann Crane, one brother and three sisters.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her daughter, Peggy Penland, sons, Bob Anderson (Katherine), Jack Anderson (JoAnne), sisters, Mildred Earnhardt all of Greensboro, Sarah Jeffries of Gastonia, 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 27 great-great-grandchildren and her dog, Buddy.
Memorial contributions may be made to Living Waters Baptist Church, 5667 Old Randleman Rd., Greensboro, NC 27406 or to the Guilford County Humane Society, 4525 W. Wendover Ave., Greensboro, NC 27409.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home N. Elm St. is assisting the family.
