MADISON — Mary Frances Mabe Tilley, 77, formerly of Madison, died Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Morehead Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Ellisboro Baptist Church cemetery with Reverend Darrell Brumfield officiating.
Mrs. Tilley was born February 11, 1935, in Rockingham County, to the late Relus Mabe and Doris Pauline Calhoun Mabe. She was a farmer and former employee of Sears and a member of Ellisboro Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Hassell Tilley, and grandson, Jason Cechini.
Survivors include daughter, Sheila Cechini (Tony) of Madison; son, Jeffrey Tilley (Corky); brother, Billy Ray Mabe (Peggy) of Madison; sisters, Shirley M. Gourley and Linda M. Clark (Donnie) all of Madison; grandchildren, Ashley Martin (Josh), Karen Morgan (Eric) and Charlie Tilley and great-grandchild, Kaelyn Morgan.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., Saturday, at Colonial Funeral Home and all other times at 257 Tilly Road, Madison.
