REIDSVILLE — Mary Elizabeth Pritchett Pugh, 89, of 704 Baker St. Reidsville, NC went to be with the Lord Wednesday November 28, 2012 at the Penn Nursing Center.
Funeral Services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday December 1, 2012 at First Congregational Christian Church. Burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery.
A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Nellie Cathleen Barber Pritchett and had lived in Reidsville all of her life. Mary was the retired Administrator of Rockingham Nursing Center. A member of First Congregational Christian Church, where she was in the Faithful Seekers Sunday School Class and the Women's Fellowship. She was also a member of the Reidsville Chapter # 172 Order of Eastern Star. Mary was preceded in death by her husband: Samuel E. "Red" Pugh and a son: James Robert "Bobby" Pugh.
Surviving are her sons: David E. Pugh and wife Karen of Reidsville; Tommy B. Pugh and wife Tanya of Reidsville; her daughter: Cathleen P. Hord and husband Chuck of Reidsville; her daughter-in-law: Janet W. Pugh of Greensboro; her sister: Helen P. Holcomb of Reidsville; her grandchildren: Gretchen Pugh, Jennifer P. Miller, Adam Pugh, Beth Klipstine, Laura Norman, Emily Pugh, Sarah Hord, & Sam Pugh; 12 great grandchildren
The family will see friends 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. Friday November 30, 2012 at Citty Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home of her daughter Cathleen P. Hord 1206 Wentworth St. Reidsville, N.C. Online condolences may be made at www.cittyfh.com/
