GREENSBORO — Mary L. Kinlaw passed away peacefully on November 9, 2012.

Homegoing service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Woodard Funeral Home, 3200 North O'Henry Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27405.

The visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. with service to follow at 11 a.m.

Mary was born in Madison, NC on August 30, 1950, the daughter of the late Sam Lowe and Vertie Miller. She served as first lady and devoted member of the Holy Prayer House Church in Greensboro, NC. She was a dedicated employee of the Department of Social Services for over 30 years and a private duty caregiver until her retirement. She loved her family and friends deeply and will be missed by all that knew her/.

Her family is grateful to the many nurses, aids, staffs and residents who so lovingly cares for her.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Elder Jerome Kinlaw; daughters, Danielle Lowe, of High Point NC, and Tonya Lowe-Simone (J'esus); four grandchildren, Tayshawn Lowe, Latonya McKinnon (Jerrell), Demetrius Lowe and Jermey Davidson, all of Greensboro NC; great granddaughter, Janelle McKinnon; sisters, Bettis Lowe and Maxine Davis (Albert), of Greensboro NC; brothers, Luther Lowe and William Pendergrass, of Greensboro, Roy Lowe, of New Castle, PA, and Lorenzo Lowe, of Roanoke, VA; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Bradshaw, Barbara JeanBettis (Jerry) of Phila, PA, Saraphine Bynum (Matthew) of Lane, SC, Dorothy Kinlaw, of Columbia, SC, Cynthia Dungee, of Greensboro, NC; Brothers-in-law, Singletary Kinlaw Jr. (Everlina) and Voris Kinlaw (Karen) of Phila, PA, and James Kinlaw (Gwendolyn), of Richmond, VA, and Surviving Aunt Rebecca Ferguson, of Greensboro, NC; 26 god children; special friends; Dorthy Bush (dear friend and caregiver) of Edgefield, SC, Mary Clyburn, Yvonne Morehead, Tarsha Howard, ATTY. Michael Schlosser, Patricia Chandler and Judy Reynolds, of Greensboro NC; her church family at Holy Prayer House in Greensboro, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
