MARTINSVILLE, VA — Martha L. Stultz, 66, of Marhill Drive in Ridgeway, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at her residence. She was born on February 26, 1946 in Rockingham County, North Carolina to Peter Aubrey Leake and Ruby Carter Leake, both deceased. Martha had been employed by Lowes Building Supply and retired from First Federal Savings and Loan where she was a teller. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ridgeway.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Leake Roberts and a brother, Robert Jackson Leake.
Surviving are her husband, Merritt C. Stultz, Jr. of the residence; one son, Barry Douglas Lynch and wife, Karen of Ridgeway; three grandchildren, Andrew Douglas Lynch, Brayden Patrick Lynch and Caleb Michael Lynch; two sisters, Betsy L. Davis and Carol L. Rackley, both of Stoneville, NC; one brother-in-law, Jesse H. Roberts of Stoneville, NC.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Ridgeway with the Rev. Ray Shelton, the Rev. Gary Edwards and the Rev. Gleason Worrell officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Martinsville.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Ridgeway.
