STONEVILLE — Margaret Virginia Melton Sexton, 80, of Stoneville, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at home.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Stoneville Municipal Cemetery.
Mrs. Sexton was born April 4, 1932, in Wythe County, VA, to the late Thomas Melton and Matilda Rowena Carolina Combs Melton. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Margaret was a loving wife and mother who will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, James Burlin Sexton, seven brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include son, James Richard Sexton of Stoneville; daughters, Berlene Kiser and husband, Dean, of Fayetteville and Robin Sawyer and husband, Greg, of Greensboro; grandchildren, Christina, James, Rebecca, Deanna, Kierston, and Tyler Kiser, Diana S. Turner, Sarah, Lisa, Gregory, Brooke and Bridget Sawyer; and great-grandchildren, Brenna, Vaedra and Solara Stafford.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at Colonial Funeral Home.
