EDEN — Lucy Ray Martin, 91, passed away Tuesday night, January 1, 2013, at Brian Center in Eden.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 4, at Overlook Cemetery.
Mrs. Craig was born April 19, 1921 in Eckman, WV, daughter of the late William and Mary Bishop Martin. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She is survived by her son, Cary Grant Young of Manhattan, NY; niece, June Bowman Cundiff of Eden; step-daughters, Evelyn Long and husband, Ruben of Pleasant Garden and Linda Joyce and husband, Larry of Eden; and three step-grandchildren, Karen Strickland, Kim Cole and Laura Bryant.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Lee Craig; brother, John E. Martin; and sister, Magdalene Bowman.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Fair Funeral Home.
