TUCSON, AZ — Lineas (Lennie) Iredell Griffin, Jr., 67 passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 in the Hospice Unit of Southern Arizona Veteran's Hospital in Tucson, AZ.
He was a native of Rockingham County and the son of the late Lineas Iredell Griffin, Sr. and Irene Kepley Griffin. He was born on October 24, 1945 and graduated in 1963 from Bethany High School in, Reidsville, NC. Lennie served in the United States Air Force in Blytheville, Arkansas. Later, he moved to Tucson were he worked for Learjet (Bombardier) for 28 years.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Barbara L. Griffin of Tucson, AZ; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Kevin Snyder of Stoneville, NC; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Mike Pertile of Tucson, AZ and three grandchildren, Kasey Snyder, Preston Snyder and Madelyn Pertile.
