GREENSBORO — Leonard A. Loy, 88, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the Hospice Home of Alamance.
Leonard was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Paula Stewart Loy and his son Richard N. Loy.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews; and his sister-in-law, Ann Wright and her husband Rev. Tom Wright of Danville, VA.
Leonard was a Navy veteran of WWII having served as a radioman on submarines. Prior to moving to Palm Beach Fl., he was President of Burlington Business College. In Palm Beach, he was the county budget director until he retired.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Gibsonville United Methodist Church, 501 Church St., Gibsonville, NC.
