GARNER — Lena Cecil, 88, of 107 Nicklaus Drive, died Sunday at Wake Medical Center. She was a faithful bookkeeper of A&P for over 30 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at Tuesday 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
She is survived by daughters; Betty Jernigan and husband, Charles of Garner, Nancy Smith of Raleigh; sister, Margaret Beaman; brother, Milton Harman; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, of 63 years, Robert Cecil, and a son, Pearlie Oscar Cecil.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
