MAYODAN — Larry Duane Hopper, 37, of 305 North 4th Avenue, died Friday, December 7, 2012, at Moses Cone Hospital.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, December 9, 2012, at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Ellisboro Baptist Church cemetery.
Mr. Hopper was born September 21, 1975, in Rockingham County, to Dona Vaughn Hopper Ivester and the late James Ronald Hopper.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by sister, Lori Ann Hopper; step-father, Sonny Ivester; fraternal grandparents, Dixon Hopper and Georgia Hennis Hopper and maternal grandparents, Dumah Vaughn and Lucille Vaughn.
Survivors include his mother, Dona Ivester; brothers, Jason Hopper and Darin "Monkey" Hopper and nephews, Austin Richardson and Jayce Hopper.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Saturday, at Colonial Funeral Home and all other times at the home of Jason Hopper, 691 Rierson Road, Madison.
