GREENSBORO — Katherine Josephine O'Connell, 79, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2013 at Wesley Long Hospital.
Kathy was born April 29, 1933 in the Bronx, New York to the late Thomas and Mary Deacon. She is survived by her devoted husband, Harry I. O'Connell of Greensboro, NC; son Robert O'Connell of Stokesdale, NC; son Steven O'Connell and his wife Martha of Greensboro, NC; daughter Eileen O. Cohen of Charlotte, NC; brother William Brunck and his wife Ruth of Youngsville, NC; and grandchildren Sean, Dylan and Sam.
A Prayer Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Forbis and Dick Pleasant Garden Chapel. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
