HIGH POINT — Mr. John Alfred Propst, 91, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Hospice Home of High Point.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 19 at Moriah United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Propst was born on October 4, 1921 in Catawba County. He was a member of Moriah United Methodist Church and Woodmen of the World.
He was preceded in death by wife, Louella May Propst and parents, James and Elva Mullinax Propst.
Survivors include daughters, Sheila Gregson (Larry), Lelia Joyner (Danny); sister, Lucille Shook; brother, Melvin Propst (Millie); grandchildren, Tamara Joyner, Dwayne Gregson, and great-grandchildren, Luke and Kristin.
There is no visitation scheduled.
