GREENSBORO — Mr. Jesse Lee Miles, Jr., 88, died Friday, November 9, 2012 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Forbis and Dick, N. Elm Street Chapel with Rev. Carl Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.

Mr. Miles was born March 19, 1924 in Greensboro, son of the late Jesse Lee Miles, Sr. and Lelia Wyrick Miles. He was a longtime self employed auto mechanic and loved to fish and hunt.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Wyrick Miles, of the home; children, Richard Lee Miles, Sr. and wife Donna of Wake Forest, Teresa Winfree and husband Stan of Reidsville, Shelia Loflin of Julian and Holly Rogers and husband Vince of Tobaccoville; a sister, Marie Lambert; four grandchildren, Richard Lee Miles, Jr. and wife Michelle of Julian, Sharon Lineberry of Julian, Jessi and Christian Rogers of Tobaccoville; a great grandson, Landon Miles Lineberry "Papa's buddy."

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Wyrick and a brother Jacob "Sonny" Miles.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2012 at Forbis and Dick, N. Elm Street.
