CHARLOTTE — Jeffrey Keith Hedrick, 46, of Therrell Farms Road, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at his home.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Hedrick's Grove United Church of Christ with the Rev. William Sowers officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
Mr. Hedrick was born April 30, 1966, in Davidson County, to Olin Keith Hedrick and Donna Sue Fritts Younts. He was a graduate of Fred T. Foard High School in Newton, Appalachian State University and earned his Master's degree from Pfeiffer College. He was manager at Piedmont Natural Gas in Charlotte and a member of Oakridge United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Karin Lail Hedrick of the home; daughter, Taylor Hedrick; son, Dane Hedrick; his mother of Lexington; his father and stepmother, Deana Mabe Hedrick, of Lexington; sister, Lisa Donette Hedrick of Lexington; grandmother, Ruby Earley of Lexington; mother and father-in-law, Marie and Bill Taylor and Wayne and Doris Lail; brother-in-law and family, Kevin, Mandy, Paxton, Sydnie and Allie; and special friend, Tony Beck.
