GREENSBORO Jacqueline L. (Jackie) Wheeler, 87, died in Hampstead, NC on December 3, 2012. Jackie was born May 9, 1925 in Guilford County to Floyd Angus and Anna Lou Thelma Newman Leach.
There will be a memorial service 2 p.m., December 9, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home, with Pastor John Jarman, of Rankin Baptist Church officiating. Jackie's inurnment will be at Lakeview Memorial Park immediately after the service.
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond B Wheeler; two brothers, Bunk Leach; Sam Leach; a sister, June Johnson; and a grandson, Mark Wheeler. She is survived by a son, Ray Wheeler (Cary) of Raleigh; a daughter, Dawn Rosson (John) of Surf City, N.C.; a brother, Jerry Leach (Susan) of Oldton, Fla.; five grandchildren, Jeff Rosson of Brown Summit, Angela Cable of Mcleansville, Kim Barham of Asheboro, Sydney Maughan of California, Brad Wheeler of Raleigh and seven great-grandchildren.
Jackie was a member of Rankin Baptist Church. She loved traveling and she was employed by Holiday Tours, of Randleman for 26 years.
