MADISON — Jack "Jackie" Anderson Lawson, Sr., 66, died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at
Jacob's Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2013, at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, Madison. Interment will follow in Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Jackie was born on May 4, 1946, in Rockingham County, to the late Harvey Lawson and Pauline Hand Lawson. He was a graduate of Madison-Mayodan High School and retired from Pike Electric and Duke Energy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Lawson Martin.
Survivors include his son, B.J. Lawson (Karra); brothers Rickey Lawson (Candice), John Lawson (Janice), and seven nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Funeral Home and all other times at 329 Wilson St, Madison, NC.
