GREENSBORO — Mrs. Iris Holder McGehee, 83, of 5002 Bullard Loop Road, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Moses Cone Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2012, at Forbis and Dick North Elm Chapel. Burial will be at Guilford Memorial Park.
Mrs. McGehee was a native of Guilford County. She was retired from Dixie Belle with 57 years of continuous service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Annie Lee Owens and husband, Lonnie Eugene McGehee.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty Jean Szarka (Freddy); grandchildren Rodney Gunnell (Deborah), Randy Gunnell (Paula) Gunnell, Fred Szarka Jr. (Keri), and Rhonda Szarka (Kenny). She is also survived by great-great grandchildren, Larry, Emilee, Leah, Addison, Chris, Ricky, Clayton and Cody, and one great-great-grandchild, Karsen.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Forbis and Dick North Elm Chapel.
