GREENSBORO — Irene P. Sharpe, 83, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Moses Cone Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Alamance Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Jamie Lee Sharpe. She is survived by daughters, Sylvia Hinton and Miranda Swift (Mark); sons, Timmie Sharpe and Wayne Sharpe (Connie); grandchildren, Lisa Ledford (Steve), Jason Hinton, Tiffany Knight (Jason), Natalie Swift, Angela Sharpe, Jamey Sharpe, and Megan Sharpe; great grandchild, Taylor Ledford; great-great grandchildren, Maci King, Aiden and Brady Hinton; brother, Joe Perdue; and sisters, Vallie Summers and Annie Alley (Charles)
Irene was a precious angel, loving mother grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed dearly.
