DURHAM — Mrs. Grace Dick Martin, 97, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Hospice of Alamance-Caswell in Burlington.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Forbis & Dick Pleasant Garden Chapel. Interment will follow at Alamance Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Grace was born in Guilford County on June 6, 1915. She was a homemaker and loved to garden, work outside, knit, read and cook. She was a dedicated member of Alamance Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon and member of Women of the Church group.
Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents, Neal and Christine Causey Dick; her husband, Roy L. Martin; brothers, Frank and Ed Dick; sisters, Ruth McIntyre and Sue Barber.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann M. Cranford; grandchildren, Kelly Keefer, (John), Adam Cranford; sister, Doris Rich, (Russell); several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
