GREENSBORO — Mrs. Ernestine "Tina" Shepherd, 77, passed away Friday, April 29, 2011.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Mrs. Shepherd was preceded in death by her husband, Olan Durant Shepherd.
She is survived by her sons, Rick Shepherd and wife Pat, Randy Shepherd, Mike Shepherd and wife Susan; daughters, Vicki Nance and husband Jesse, Betty Lou Lanning; sister, Suzy Joyce and husband John all of Greensboro; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to Mrs. Shepherd's personal care assistant, Angela Ingram and to the staff of Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro.
The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
