REIDSVILLE — Ernest Hensley, Jr. of 709 Delancy Street died Thursday, February 7, 2013.
Survivors are: sons, Alfornia Hensley, Raydell Hensley, Eric "Ed" Hensley (Tasha), Leray Hensley and Larry Dillard (Nancy); daughters, Bessie Blackstock, Vickie Scott (John), Theresa Slade and Therese Hensley; sister, Stella Hensley; sister-in-law, Goldie Bigelow; brother-in-law, Floyd Randolph; 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; he nurtured an additional family, Joan Courts, Carolyn Courts, Ronnie Courts and Larry Courts (Lillian); 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2013 from the Piedmont District Convention Christian View, Disciples of Christ, Highway 87, Wentworth.
The family visitation will be Monday from 1:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the church. Other times, the family may be contacted at the residence and 11563 Highway 87, Eden.
