GREENSBORO — Mrs. Elaine Joyce Geiser, 71, of Jamestown, died Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the Hospice Home of High Point.
A service celebrating Elaine's life will be held on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Chapel of Forbis and Dick at Guilford with Rabbi Tzipora Radonsky officiating. Shiva will be held all day Thursday and Friday until Sabbath. Shiva will be held at 109 Mendenhall Road, Jamestown, NC.
Elaine was a woman who was vibrant, compassionate, and active in all parts of her life. She was a loving mother of Aaron and a devoted wife of Wes for 52 years. She was a strong supporter of women's rights and held a strong opposition to war. Elaine was an accomplished artist and taught culinary arts at the Roy Culler Center. Elaine was employed for over 40 years with Town and Country Pediatrics.
Elaine is survived by her husband Wes Geiser of the home; her son, Aaron and wife Maria; one brother, Irv Levinson of Evanston, IL; and two grandchildren, Gabriel and Matthew. She was preceded in death by her parents, Abe and Mildred Levinson and a sister Sandra Donofrio.
