CHAPEL HILL — Eddy Landreth, resident of Chapel Hill NC, formerly from Greensboro, passed away November 7, 2012 at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital. He was the son of Buck and Barbara Landreth.
He left behind his wife Jane, son Jordan and daughter Madison, mother Barbara Landreth, sister Renee' Norris and family and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews who loved him dearly. He attended Lee's McCray college and graduated UNC Chapel Hill with a Major in Journalism and English.
His jobs consisted of Chapel Hill News Paper, Winston Salem Paper and Charlotte Herald doing what he loved best, writing Sports News. His last jobs were UNC Chapel Hill Hospital, Galloway Retirement Center as a Security Guard, and wrote for the Tarheel Illustrated web site. He will be missed by all.
Funeral Services will be conducted at Community Baptist Church, 1330 Burnetts Chapel Rd. Greensboro NC 27406, at 2 p.m. Saturday November 10, 2012 with visitation in the fellowship hall afterwards.
