GREENSBORO Dora Freedman, 93, died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, November 19, 2012 at her residence. Services will be held on Wednesday, 11 a.m. in the chapel at Temple Emanuel on Jefferson Road in Greensboro, followed by internment at the Hebrew Cemetery in Greensboro with Rabbi Fred Guttman officiating.
Dora was born on March 6, 1919 in Buffalo, New York. She married her loving husband Julius in June, 1954. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed by all.
Dora was preceded in death by her husband, Julius in 1997, one sister and two brothers. She is survived by her sons, Howard Freedman of Dallas, TX and Donald L. Freedman and wife Kim of Greensboro, NC; two grandchildren, Charles and Jack Freedman.
The family wishes to express their appreciation for the care and consideration giving to their mother by Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro and especially to nurse Karen Kaplan.
