EDEN — Daniel "Danny" Wayne Turner, 40, of 213 West Washington Street Extension in Mayodan, passed away early Friday morning, February 15, 2013, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 18, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery.
Danny was born May 20, 1972 in Rockingham County.
He is survived by his fiancee, Carrie Wilson of the home; son, Samuel Jacob Turner of the home; his parents, Sam and Ruby Hale Turner of Eden; four brothers, Kenny Turner and wife, Shannon of Reidsville, Mike Turner and wife, Michelle of Eden, John Turner and wife, Melissa of Raleigh and Mark Turner and wife, Angela of Stoneville; three sisters, Teresa Reynolds and husband, Jimmy, Donna Proctor and husband, Dennis, all of Eden and Debbie Wright of Greensboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Myrtle Turner and Frank and Elizabeth Hale.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening, 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
