REIDSVILLE — Daniel Graham "Dan" Vick, 94, of Clemmons Village 2 in Clemmons, formerly of Reidsville, died Monday, January 1, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Citty Funeral Home Chapel and burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Military Rites.
A native of High Point, he was as son of the late William James and Nannie Elizabeth Rich Vick, and he had lived in Reidsville for over 40 years. Dan was a retired Insurance Representative with Jefferson-Pilot for over 20 years. He attended first Baptist Church and was a life member and Past President of the Reidsville Men's Garden Club, member of the American Legion, and the Combat Airmen of WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years: Barbara Burke Vick.
Surviving are his sons: Daniel G. Vick II and wife: Sue of Greenville, SC; William David Vick and wife: Cathy of Lutz, Fla.; and Dean Marshall Vick and wife: Robin of Clemmons. Eight grandchildren.
The family will see friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013 at Citty Funeral Home.
