WALNUT COVE — Cleo "Mammie" Bullins Brim Kendrick, 86, died Sunday morning, February 3, 2013 at Pioneer Community Hospital of Stokes.
She was born January 6, 1927 in Stokes County to Joe Henry and Bertha Dyson Bullins. She retired from Macfield with ten years of service. Cleo was a hard working loving mother that was good to everyone. She was a member of Victory Ministries Church.
A 3 p.m. funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Burroughs Chapel with Rev. Clayton Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Brim; second husband, Marvin R. Kendrick; daughter, Mary Mae Hand; son Joe Lee Brim; two sisters, Sarah Parrish and Betty Morris; four brothers, John Henry Bullins, Jay Bullins, Chester Bullins and Bill Bullins.
She is survived by six children, James W. Brim and wife Peggy, Roger Dale Brim and wife Tina, Peggy Goins and husband Jimmy, Linda Brim Baker and husband David, Michael R. Brim and wife Robin, all of Madison, James Franklin Brim and wife Nancy of Walnut Cove; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; twn great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Bullins and David Bullins.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Burroughs Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, Peggy Goins.
