STOKESDALE — Mr. Claude Cameron White, 91, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012, at Wesley Long Hospital.
A graveside inurnment service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, at the Stokesdale United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tony Dowdy officiating.
A native of Stokesdale and Guilford County, Mr. White was born on August 26, 1921, the son of the late David Milton and Minne Ola Winfrey White. Mr. White worked as an auto mechanic most of his adult life, and was a proud veteran of the US Army, having served during World War II.
Surviving are nephews Kenneth Martin and his wife, Wanda, Robert C. Martin and his wife, Leslie, a niece Jean Jones and her husband, David, and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister Katherine Martin.
