GREENSBORO — Mr. Charlie Fletcher Burkes, Jr. died Saturday, May 21, 2011.
Left to cherish his memories are wife, Donna Levette Burkes; children, Donald R. Burkes (Pamela), David L. Burkes (Katherine), Howard L. Burkes (Katina), Mark A. Burkes (Angela), Donna Curtis, Denise Brawley and Tyra White; stepchildren, Christopher Levette, Kevin Epps and Tameka Beasley all of Greensboro; father, Charlie Burkes, Sr. and brother, Robert Burkes both of Summerfield; 35 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Peace United Methodist Church, Summerfield.
