EDEN — Mrs. Catherine Jean Dickerson, 63, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2013 at St. John Baptist Church in Axton, VA where she was a member. Entombment will be in Overlook Cemetery in Eden. She was a native of Henry County, VA and a former employee of Miller Brewery. She is survived by a son, William Thomas Baines and daughter Tomekia Joy'el Dickerson both of the home, her mother, Nannie Foye of Axton, VA, three brothers, Michael Hairston and Don Lee Foye (Tonya) both of Axton. VA, Gary Lamont Foye (Renee) of Danville, VA, four sisters, Carolyn Hairston (John) of Eden, NC, Glennette Adams (Sherman) and Elizabeth Adams (Major) of Axton, VA and Angela Denise Scales of Raleigh, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. Monday at St. John Baptist Church. Arrangements entrusted to Perry-Spencer Funeral Home, Eden.
