GRENSBORO — Billy "'Joe" Wilson, Jr., 50 of Greensboro, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, December 20, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012, 6:30 p.m., at Lawndale Baptist Church, 3505 Lawndale Dr., Greensboro, NC 27408. Family meet and greet from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
He was the son of Billy Joe Wilson, Sr., of Fort Mill, SC and Shirley F. Crosby, deceased, of Greensboro. He is survived by children, William H. Wilson, and Elizabeth Grace Wilson both of Greensboro, and many more beloved relatives.
Joe was self-employed because he was a man of many interests. He was personable, witty and loyal to family, friends and country. His greatest joy in life was his children.
His family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to all his family members and friends that assisted him during his illness.
