BROWN SUMMIT — Mrs. Betty Sue Greer Michael, 66 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at Moses Cone Hospital with her loving family by her side.
A funeral service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church 2 p.m. Sunday with the Reverend Steve Gunter and Reverend Carl Shelton officiating. Entombment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Betty was born in Guilford County on July 1, 1946 to Alonzo Garnet Greer and Sara Evelyn Oldham Greer. She was a former employee with Allen Bradley Company, Gilbarco, and SCI Burlington, a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her brothers Paul Greer, Claude "Red" Greer, Jerry Greer and her sister Dorothy James.
She is survived by husband Larry Michael of the home; daughter Donna Vaughn of Greensboro: two sons, Bobby Michael and Jason Michael and wife Brooke of Greensboro; her brother Leroy Greer and wife Jean of Greensboro; grandchildren, Tiffine Blanks, Heather Allen, Vanessa Rainey, Brittni Hardison, Matthew Michael, Taylor Michael, Connor Michael, Peyton Michael and Cody Michael; great grandchildren, Cole Blanks, Hannah Allen, Alyssa Collins, Jacob Allen and Maddox Rainey.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the
