PLEASANT GARDEN — Ms. Betty Jane Bunton, 79, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012 at Heartland Living and Rehabilitation.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 9 at Forbis & Dick, Pleasant Garden Chapel. Interment will follow at Midway Cemetery in Greensboro.
Ms. Bunton was born on September 3, 1933 in Guilford County. She was a graduate of Bessemer High School and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Randleman.
She was preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Callie Howard Bunton, brothers, Richard Bunton, Garland Bunton, Charlie Bunton, James Bunton; sisters, Dorothy Bunton, Martha Coleman, Nina Mae Ward and Lillian Bunton.
Survivors include nephews, John Logan of the home, Alvin Bunton (Joan), sister, Mary Reid; brothers, Jerry "Butch" Bunton (Bonnie), Raymond Bunton (Alice); sister-in-law, Martha Bunton; brother-in-law, Thomas Coleman; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday at Forbis & Dick, Pleasant Garden Chapel.
