GREENSBORO — Funeral service for Mrs. Bettie Smith Echols is Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1210 South Elm-Eugene Street, Greensboro. Family visitation begins at 12:30 p.m. with the service at 1 p.m.

Bettie was preceded in death by her husband, Lenward Thomas Echols, Jr., in 2003.

She is survived by: daughter, Shaun (Calvin, Sr.) Echols-Davis; grandson, Courtney N. Davis; cousins, Wilbur (Margo) Garrett and Loreese Harris; close family friend, Ralph Carter; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services are entrusted to Hargett Funeral Service.
