GREENSBORO — Mr. Benjamin Davidowitz, 91, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 21, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Beth David Synagogue. Burial will follow in the Greensboro Hebrew Cemetery.
Ben was born in Chester, PA and moved to Danville, VA where he founded Ben David Jewelers. Later in life, he and his wife moved to Greensboro to be closer to their sons and grandchildren. Ben loved life, loved everyone he met and made this world a better place through his friendship and charitable involvement in numerous endeavors. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 61 years, Bec Davidowitz; sons, Leon Davidowitz (Jackie) and Mark Davidowitz (Cheryl); five grandchildren, Jordan (Danielle), Julia, Blaire (George), Jake, and Jennie; and his great grandson, Maureece.
