

GREENSBORO Barbara Flynn Barbour, 71, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013 at Camden Place.
Services will be held at the Hanes Lineberry Chapel on North Elm Street at 11 a.m. on Monday March 18, 2013. Interment will follow at Westminster Gardens.
Mrs. Barbour was born May 11th, 1941, in Rockingham County to the late McKinley and Eunice Flynn. She was a member of the Northeast Baptist Church and owner of Barbour's Shoe Repair.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barbour was preceded in death by her husband Malcolm David Barbour Jr., two daughters, Charlene and Darlene Barbour, a son, Larry Lee Barbour, one brother and five sisters. She is survived by her son, David W. Barbour; daughter, Deborah B. Watkins; three grandchildren, Leigh Ann, Lauren Michelle, and David Richard; and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Richard Flynn of Greensboro and Hubert Flynn of California, and two sisters Rosene Stone of Greensboro and Pamela Morrison of California. The family would like to give special thanks to Beverly Ziglar, who was a great friend and caregiver to both Mr. and Mrs. Barbour.
The family visitation will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
