RIDGEWAY, VA — Barbara Ann Patterson Hundley, 80, of 5869 Mitchell Road in Ridgeway, VA, passed away Thursday morning, January 10, 2013, at Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., at Mt. View Cemetery in Ridgeway.
A native of Rockingham County, Mrs. Hundley was born April 12, 1932, daughter of the late Bethel Eugene and Hester Shelton Patterson. She was a member of Hampton Heights Baptist Church and was a retiree of E. I. DuPont.
She is survived by one daughter, Vickie Widener and husband, Samuel of Ridgeway; and one sister, Peggie P. Boldin of Reidsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Billy" Hundley; three brothers; and two sisters.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of the daughter, 5927 Mitchell Road in Ridgeway.
