
GREENSBORO Mrs. Bambilyn S. Vigrass, 51, of Greensboro, died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Forbis and Dick Guilford Chapel.
Bambilyn was born in Altoona, PA, on September 29, 1961 to Mr. Francis and Mrs. Wilma Smith. She attended and graduated from GTCC (Guilford Technical Community College) and was currently employed by Lindley Rehabilitation. She was a woman filled with compassion who knew no stranger. She was a free spirit and an inspiration to all whom she met. An avid NASCAR fan and animal lover, Bambilyn's compassion to help those in need reached from human to four legged animals. She loved the beach and the ability to find the "quiet moment" with those whom she loved. She was an exceptional mother, wife, daughter, and sister. She will be missed by many and many lives have been enriched thanks to her presence in this life.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Vigrass; two children, daughter Chloe Vigrass and son Cory Vigrass; her mother, Wilma Smith of Emerald Isle, NC; and a brother, Doug Smith of Buffalo, NY.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 4 until 6 p.m. at Forbis and Dick Guilford Chapel, 5926 W. Friendly Ave., Greensboro, NC 27410.
