BROWNS SUMMIT Annie Belle Brady Westcott, 90, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013.
A 2 p.m. funeral service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Forbis and Dick North Elm Street Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Annie Belle was born November 2, 1922 to the late Claude and Thelma Murray. She worked for several years at Lorillard before going to work at Food World, eventually retiring in 1982. She was a long-time member of New Bessemer Baptist Church having been a choir member, a member of the WMU, a Sunday school teacher and volunteer. She also volunteered with Meals on Wheels. Annie Belle enjoyed cooking, travelling and was a very loving human being.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde C. Brady. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Murray.
Surviving is her husband, Marl Westcott, of the home. Also surviving is her niece and chosen daughter, Elizabeth Wampler (husband Steven) of Reidsville, NC. Other survivors include a sister, Louise Garner, as well as a niece, Barbara Martin (husband Jim), step-children Clarence Westcott (wife Susan) and Patty Wooten (husband Jim). In addition, she is survived by a large, extended family.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Forbis and Dick North Elm Street Chapel.
