
GREENSBORO Mr. Alfred C. Lee, 78 of Greensboro passed away on November 14, 2012 at Beacon Place Hospice.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday November 17, 2012 at Lakeview Memorial Park with Military Honors.
Alfred was born on Sept 11, 1934 in Troy, Alabama , but had lived in Greensboro for the past 40 years. He was the son of the late John Franklin & Allie Lucille Starling Lee. Alfred was a retired U.S. Navy Chief Engine Mechanic serving during the Korean War & Vietnam War. He was also of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Betty Faye Schoolfield Lee, a son Alfred Lee, Jr. and his wife Denise, sisters Margaret Hodge Gullatte and husband Earl, Margie Ivey and husband Grady, brother Curtis Lee and wife Carol, nine Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his brothers Cody & Charles Lee and sister, Mary Hodge, and step sons, Michael & Larry Bellow.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday at the Forbis & Dick North Elm Street Funeral Home in Greensboro.
