
GREENSBORO - Raymond (Ray) Audly Brown, 88, of 5513 Bridgeview Dr. went home to be with the Lord on December 9, 2012. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on October 1, 1924. He was a US Army Veteran, dedicated Christian, loving husband, loving father, loving grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a member of the Church of Christ for 70 years, and a current member of the West Wendover Church of Christ. He retired from Rexaman Corporation where he was employed for 39 years. After his retirement he was a part- time driver for the Greensboro Auto Auction for over 10 years. Preceding him in death were Robert Brown & Minnie Jordan Brown. He leaves behind his loving wife Margie D. Brown of 69 years, his children Cheryl Sims, Wayne Brown, Carol Long & husband Allen and Linda Addison.; ten grandchildren Mark, Marty and Cary Moser, Cara, Ashley Addison, Bobby Williams, Brandon Williams, Margie Butler, Naomi Brown and Shana Duggins; and sixteen great grandchildren, two great-greatgrandchildren. The family wishes to thank members of Wendover Avenue Church of Christ for their support, Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, Dr. Henry Tripp and staff at Physicians Home Visits, and Caring Hands for the care given and Triad Cremation Society.
A memorial service will be held at his residence on Thursday, December 13 at 2 p.m.
