LOUISE FREEMAN PLEASANT

GREENSBORO - Ms. Louise Freeman Pleasant, daughter of the late Gaither and Anna Williams Freeman was born in Greensboro, North Carolina October 4, 1936, and departed this life November 9, 2012 at Moses H. Cone Hospital after a short illness.

Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012, at Brown Funeral Home Chapel.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by four siblings, Catherine Freeman, James Freeman, Annie Bell Carpenter, and Matthew Freeman.

She leaves to mourn their loss her daughters, Lois L. Holcombe Mitchell of Dallas, Texas, and Sheila P. McAllister of Kernersville; sister, Betty White of Greensboro; brother, Gaither L. Freeman, Jr. of Greensboro; two granddaughters, Regina England Peay and April L. Cannon both of Greensboro; five great-grandchildren, Bobby Peay Jr., Nautica Peay, Jordan Peay, Regan Peay, and Cameron Cannon, and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family would like to express their heartfelt "Thank You" to all of the staff at Moses H. Cone Hospital for all their support and kindness shown to Louise and her family.
