GREENSBORO — Eugene S. Krusch, 78, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2012, at Duke University Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 1 p.m. at Beth David Synagogue with Rabbi Eliezer Havivi officiating. Burial will follow at the Greensboro Hebrew Cemetery.

Gene was born in Newark, NJ on August 18, 1934. He served his country in the US Army and graduated from Columbia University School of Pharmacy. He acquired AGI Industries in 1975 and operated it for 22 years until his retirement. He was a member and past president of Beth David Synagogue, founding member and board member of B'nai Shalom Day School and served as the Treasurer of the Greensboro Jewish Federation. Gene was an avid golfer and always enjoyed his close friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be deeply missed.

Surviving is his loving wife of 52 years, Carole ; sons, Michael and wife Allison, Eddie and wife Elizabeth; four grandsons and two granddaughters; brother Harold Krusch and wife Bernice and brother-in-law, Alan Bardy and wife Arlene; sister-in-law, Eileen Silver; mother-in-law, Jan Levy and cousins, Allan and Ellen Ross, Irv and Irene Cohen.

Memorials may be made to the B'nai Shalom Day School, 804 Winview Drive, Greensboro, NC 27408.
