GREENSBORO — Brenda Jarvis Shelton, 71, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012.

A 2 p.m. graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Forbis and Dick North Elm Street Chapel on Tuesday, November 20 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Brenda was born in Greensboro on May 30, 1941 to the late William and Margaret Morrison. Brenda was an avid bowler and also enjoyed fishing at the coast with her husband, Bobby. In addition, she was a big North Carolina Tar heel fan and always enjoyed watching their football and basketball teams play.

Brenda was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Jarvis.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Shelton. She is also survived by daughters Tanya Wall (Ronnie) and Kathy Shelton (Tim Anderson). In addition, she is survived by sisters Ruth Dowdy and MaryLou Wyrick. Other survivors include grandchildren Nikki Cox (Scott) and Hannah Humphrey (Curtis) as well as great-grandchildren Colton and Mason Cox and Conner Humphrey. Additionally, Brenda is survived by her two special friends, Darlene Shelton and Judy Drake.
